This Speck of Dust in the Webverse
Just like every other journal out there, this is a soapbox. And what's my platform? What do I have to share?

I am a new writer and started this journal as a way to share a serial story. I update it twice a month with complete episodes. That story is a classic fantasy tale in a world with very little in the way of magic and no elves or dwarves or the like.

I also provide reviews of board and card games. I try to make sure that I have played a game at least three times before I provide a review. I am an avid gamer and I know most of my friends are as well. I hope that the game reviews are appreciated and found useful by others. I will attempt to provide this review every Monday. Clicking here will give you a link to just the game reviews.

A final note on the story - this is an experiment and all of these pieces are admittedly first draft quality. I just thought it would be interesting to be kept on schedule and be able to share a story with people directly. If you are just starting, here are some ease of use links.

Mar. 31st, 2008 @ 10:22 pm Story Review
I realized today that it has been over a YEAR since I have last done a summary story section. So, even though I know some of you are itching for another new story, I thought I would provide a summary here. This will also help some of you get caught up on some details since it has been a while. I especially wanted to do this since I have been told that there is some newfound interest in my online serial story.

Before I get to the review – I thought I would give you some more updates on my writing projects. First of all, I have yet to hear back from [info]t_e_o_p, but I will let you know as soon as I do. For my other projects, they are coming along quite well. I don’t think that I am going to have problems meeting my deadlines to get all of the projects out by GenCon Indy. There have been a few questions about my second project. It is a short story anthology that a friend of mine and I are publishing. We are collecting short stories from some writers and putting them together in a self-published anthology. Of course, I will be submitting a piece as well – one of the advantages to being the publisher. :grins:

Now, on to your review.

First of all - I am missing MarsCon. If you are there, you had better be checking out the Dementia Smackdown!

On to other things. This week I decided that rather than focus on getting another blog entry up, I would provide a summary for what has come to pass in the story. Most of the loose ends are tying up, and it seems like a good spot to provide for a slight break that would allow me to summarize. This is appended to the previous story summary and picks up where that one left of. If you have been keeping up with the story, this will all be review for you, but reading through it might remind you of some details that you forgot.

And that should catch you up.

Jul. 26th, 2006 @ 11:35 pm Weekday Summary
Since I have reached over thirty posts, I thought it was about time to provide a summary for people who might be jumping in late and don't want to start at the beginning. So, I wrote a summary recapping all of the events that happened up to the episode before the boat journey. If you have already read the individual pieces, this will be old news. However, comments and ideas are always appreciated if you see something.
